Cushy UF Teaching Gig

Liar, Liar
Sen. Haridopolos told a Miami Herald reporter last year that he hadn't signed a settlement agreement with disgraced former Republican Party of Florida chair Jim Greer.
Under oath, Haridopolos told a very different story. He admitted to signing a $124,000 severance agreement with Greer. RPOF has since refused to pay Greer, which is the origin of the lawsuit against Haridopolos and other Florida Republican leaders.
Haridopolos' excuse for his lie? "I believe what I told him [the reporter] was not the whole story, yeah...I said the contrary because I thought I wasn't allowed to talk about it." Nice try, but if Haridopolos couldn't talk about it that's what he should have told the reporter. A lie is a lie.
